PROVEN OPERATORS. DEPLOYABLE AT SHORT NOTICE.
OPERATIONALLY EXPERIENCEDMULTI-PLATFORMDEPLOYABLERAPID MOBILISATIONExcubis provides contracted UAS pilots drawn from military, emergency services, and specialist operational backgrounds — personnel with genuine flight hours on platforms that matter, in environments that demand more than proficiency alone. These are not hobbyist operators with a certificate. They are proven operators who employed unmanned systems in demanding contexts before bringing that experience into the contracted domain.
Pilots deploy as standalone capability augmenting your existing team, or embedded directly within client operations at any level of integration. All deployments are underpinned by a clear contractual framework covering duty of care, documentation, insurance, and reporting — giving clients the operational output without the overhead of direct employment.
Mobilisation timelines are kept deliberately short. Whether the requirement is planned or emerging, Excubis maintains a cadre of available, current pilots across multiple platform types — ready to deploy at short notice into UK or international taskings.
GOCO and COCO options.
Excubis supports both Government-Owned Contractor-Operated (GOCO) and Contractor-Owned Contractor-Operated (COCO) delivery models, giving clients flexibility in how UAS capability is structured, owned, and sustained.
Under a GOCO arrangement, Excubis pilots operate client-owned platforms and equipment — integrating directly into your organisation using your assets. This model suits clients with existing platform investment who require qualified operational personnel without the burden of direct employment.
Under a COCO arrangement, Excubis provides both the platform and the crew — a fully self-contained deployed capability. This is the faster route to operational output for clients who do not hold UAS assets or who require a specific platform capability for a defined period or task.
Both models are underpinned by a clear contractual framework, and can be structured as short-term task support, medium-term programme delivery, or longer standing arrangements depending on the client requirement.
Embedded test pilots. Structured data collection.
Excubis provides embedded test pilots for manufacturers conducting developmental, trial, and acceptance testing on new or modified UAS airframes. Where a programme requires more than a qualified operator, we can manage the full test programme — including flight test planning, structured data collection, and post-flight analysis and reporting.
Test pilot deployments are available as a standalone crew provision or as part of a managed test programme, depending on where the manufacturer is in their development cycle and what their programme requires.
