2. How We Use Cookies

Excubis Ltd operates two web properties:

excubis.co.uk — public company website
portal.excubis.co.uk — internal staff and client portal (authentication required)

We take a minimal cookie approach. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics platforms that profile users.

Note: The Excubis portal uses sessionStorage for authentication — not cookies. The MSAL library is explicitly configured with storeAuthStateInCookie: false. Authentication data is never written to cookies and is cleared when you close the browser tab.

4. What We Do Not Use

Google Analytics or any third-party analytics platform
Advertising or remarketing cookies
Social media tracking pixels (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
Third-party cookies that profile user behaviour
Fingerprinting or canvas-based tracking

5. Managing Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

View what cookies are stored
Delete individual or all cookies
Block cookies from specific or all websites
Set preferences for first-party vs third-party cookies

Blocking essential cookies may prevent the portal from functioning correctly (you will not be able to authenticate).

6. Changes to This Policy

If we introduce any new cookies or change how we use existing ones, we will update this page. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will implement a consent mechanism before they are set.
